Everett Shupe II

Goodwill Industries Inc.

Everett takes risks with people and on people by engaging professionals to sustain their learning in the workplace and beyond.  For over twenty years, Everett has been committed to the development of individuals through various roles and activities.  He is currently the Executive Development Program Director at Goodwill Industries International® where he manages a 16-month cohort-model program that prepares senior level executives for CEO positions in local Goodwill agencies.

Everett graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and earned his Master of Business Administration degree from Hood College. Everett is currently working on his Doctorate in Education from The George Washington University Human and Organization Learning Executive Leadership Program.  In addition, Everett has achieved the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) and Certified Association Executive (CAE) designations.

Everett has served the non-profit/association & meetings industry through his involvement with Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and American Society for Association Executives (ASAE).  He currently teaches in the Masters of Tourism Administration program at The George Washington University; he has presented on various topics at local and national meetings for MPI, ASAE, National Coalition of Black Meeting Planners and most recently at the International Transformative Learning Conference and American Association for Adult & Continuing Education.
