Dean Savoca, M.Ed., BCC
President for Savoca Performance Group
Dean Savoca, M.Ed., BCC, CSP™, is the performance development partner for hospitality leaders who want highly-effective teams that are focused, aligned and inspired.
Simply put, Dean helps meetings and events industry leaders coach their people.
A 25-year veteran of the meetings and events industry, Dean combines an early career in hospitality sales and operations with a Master’s Degree in Organizational Performance and Change, and has spent the last 14 years speaking, training and coaching on leadership and development.
Dean works at the company and association level as a keynote speaker and strategic advisor; at the board, team and department level as a management and sales trainer and facilitator; and at the individual level as an executive coach. Whatever the format – conferences, sales training, leadership development meetings or strategic planning retreats– Dean guides people through processes that focus their attention on performance and leadership issues, and rallies them to action, often right there in the room. The result is a better bottom line – boosted by improved performance, higher productivity, and more cohesive teamwork.
A speaker on the national circuit, Dean is a recipient of the National Speakers Association’s Certified Speaking Professional (CSP)™ designation, the speaking profession’s highest earned distinction and measure of professional platform skill. Only 12 percent of speakers worldwide hold this professional designation. He is also a board-certified coach, has conducted 10,000 executive coaching sessions, and maintains an active coaching practice.
He is a member of the editorial advisory board for Colorado Meeting + Events magazine, and the current Chair of the Meetings Industry Council (MIC) of Colorado. In 2014 Dean was distinguished as a national “Best in Class” speaker by the Professional Convention Management Association. He served as the 2012-2013 President of the National Speakers Association – Colorado; the Chairman of the Cherry Creek Chamber of Commerce, Denver in 2009; and has served on the Board of Directors of Destination Colorado.« All Speakers
